Axsendo Clinical Research is actively enrolling participants in a clinical trial focused on the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs).

This is a multi-center, randomized, controlled feasibility study for individuals 21 years and older living with diabetes and currently experiencing non-healing foot ulcers. Qualified participants will receive care from an experienced local physician!

What is a Diabetic Foot Ulcer?

A diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) is an open wound or sore that occurs on the foot, typically on the bottom, in people with diabetes. It’s one of the most common and serious complications of diabetes and can lead to infection, hospitalization, and in severe cases, amputation if not properly treated.

Age

Are you at least 21 years of age or older?

Diagnosis

Do you have a diagnosis of diabetes mellitus type 1 or type 2? Is your ulcer located on your foot?

Time

Has the ulcer been present on your foot for a minimum of 4 weeks?
