Axsendo Clinical Research is actively enrolling participants for a clinical study focused on treating diabetic foot osteomyelitis.

This is a multi-center, randomized, controlled feasibility trial for adults 18 years and older who are living with diabetes and experiencing complications related to bone infection in the foot.

If you qualify to participate in this study you’ll be seen by a doctor and receive all study-related care, examinations and investigational medications.

What is diabetic foot osteomyelitis?

Diabetic foot osteomyelitis (DFO) is a bone infection that occurs in the feet of individuals with diabetes. It typically arises as a complication of diabetic foot ulcers, which result from neuropathy (nerve damage) and poor blood circulation commonly associated with diabetes.

Age

Are you at least 18 years of age or older?

Diagnosis

Do you have a diagnosis of diabetes mellitus type 1 or type 2? Have you also been diagnosed with diabetic foot osteomyelitis of the forefoot?

Procedure

Do you require surgical debridement?
